3 QUICK AND DIRTY FAT LOSS TIPS

1. Add morning cardio on an empty stomach to your routine

Specifically, just 45 minutes of moderate intensity cardio right after you got out of bed 3 or 4 times per week.

Despite common mis-beliefs, taking such training in the morning on an empty stomach is a great idea if the intensity does not extend beyond moderate. You will directly target your body fat as glycogen stores are typically low at this time of the day, leaving fat as the primary fuel source. If you start the workout after breakfast, you body is likely to burn the carbohydrates consumed earlier.

Other forms of sustained lower intensity exercise will do the trick here as well – fast walking, stepper machine workout or stationary cycling. This approach is relatively easy to maintain and is a sure fire way to burning that stubborn fat in the long run.

2. Stop drinking fruit juices

A glass of apple juice a day may not keep the doctor away. In fact, if your goal is to lose weight avoid drinking packaged juices in the morning as those added sugars put in most juices. Consume real fruits to fulfill your nutrient needs and give preference to grapefruit and avocados, while avoiding caloric delights like grapes and all-things dried or canned.

3. Do not shift to shake diet completely

When you are trying to lose weight, switching on liquid shake meals may seem like a smart move. Except when it’s not!

You need to have a hefty solid meal in the morning as your body has been starving overnight and must receive a real meal that provides both nutrients and fibre. Without fibre your blood sugar levels will sky-rocket!

Additionally, do not rely on shakes as meal replacements during the day. No, eating one real meal and 4 shakes a day will not help you lose weight faster. Protein shakes are designed to supplement food meals, not replace them! Do not forget that.
