4 FOODS TO AVOID FOR FAT LOSS

Low fat foods my sounds like the obvious choice in the supermarket when you are trying to lose weight. However, they should not.

Today, we’d like to bust a few popular dieting myths and warn you against eating the following foods if you are struggling with fat loss.

Everything marked “low fat”.

Numerous researches proved that people tend to consume up to 30% more when they know they are eating low-fat products. Apart from the obvious overeating, the problem is that most manufactures remove flavor with the fat out of their goods. To compensate this, they just add more sugar than needed thus sabotaging your fat loss goals.

Juices

Juices are healthy, right? Well, not exactly. The problem with juices is that you consume all the calories without the natural fruit fibers. Basically, it’s just a glass of calories and another blood sugar spike. Fructose – the natural fruit sugar – blunts your body’s ability to recognize when it’s full, meaning you eventually eat more and get higher risks of developing diabetes on top. Unless it’s a fresh juice you prepared according to the right healthy recipe, avoid drinking those.

Granola

Granola certainly is delicious and goes so well with your yogurt. Sadly, it also contains plenty of sugar and butter, making the total caloric value sky-high. If you want a healthier alternative to top your yogurt, try bran cereal. It’s made of healthy fibers and will help you feel full for a longer time.

Multi-Grain Bread

Multi-grain breads sounds healthier than the usual white bun, right? Well, not exactly. These types of bread are usually over-processed and complete stirpped of all the valuable nutrients and fiber, leaving just an unhealthy carbon intake.Try whole grain bread instead. Higher in fiber, more nutritious and filling, yet less caloric!
